My First Giveaway!

Yay, my first giveaway! I'm so excited!!! Can't you tell by my extraneous use of exclamation points?!?!

On the serious, I don't like extraneous punctuation.

Anyway. This week's fabulous giveaway is a book by an author I've talked about several times: Margaret Feinberg. One of my best posts is Margaret Feinberg is Stalking Me—because she actually commented on it! I'm glad she has a sense of humor. And she's not really stalking me. That I'm aware of. Because, you know, the good ones are sneaky...

She's truly one of my favorite authors, and she has agreed to let me give away a copy of her book The Sacred Echo! Or her publicist has. Either way, I've got an awesome book to give away! Even if you're not my fortunate winner, I highly recommend checking out this book. It talks about the things God repeats to us over and over in life and what we need to do in response to these "sacred echoes."

I. Love. It.

There are several ways to enter. You may do one or all of the following—just leave me separate comments telling me you've completed each thing so you get multiple entries!

For your first entry:

  • Leave a comment telling me what sacred echoes have been in your life lately. What has God been bringing up to you repeatedly?
For additional entries:
So that gives you five possible ways to enter! Again, make sure you leave separate comments telling me you've done each of those things so you get all of your entries. Entries will be taken until midnight on Sunday, March 6 (EST), and I will announce the winner on Monday, March 7.

And, just so you know, this contest is rigged. I've been praying for the book to go to someone who really needs to hear what The Sacred Echo has to say. So look out! If you win, know that God picked you and he wants you to read the book.

Good luck!

  1. Be still. That's probably what I hear God whisper to me the most often. I'm so busy with work and life that I don't just sit and be still ever.

I would love to win her book! What a great giveaway.

  4. Be holy, for I am holy. Drop the pride and focus on Me. That is what He has been saying. I am listening!

  8. Okay, this must be a call to start paying more attention, because I can't think of single sacred echo! I've been going through sort of a slump lately though, so it's possible I'm not hearing the echoes that are there.

  9. God has really been showing me how to rely on HIM - NOT myself. Tough stuff!!!!!!!! So, does it totally bug you that I use an insane amount of exclamation points?!? Be honest. ;)

  10. OK, what if I'm not ready yet to utter the echo? What if by printing it here, I fear it will make it real, and the fear within me is far more powerful than what the echo might lead me to do? Wow...I'm far more cowardly than I imagined. I'm a gutless wonder. I need the book...clearly, so enter me out of a sense of pity!

  11. You don't have to homeschool in Indy...but you might have to go private. You didn't hear that from me! But seriously, Indy has some fantastic private schools...

  12. Ahh...the sacred echo! I knew their was a better phrase for what I've been hearing over and over. God's really been telling me to live for Him NOW...in whatever life's giving me (1 Corinthians 7:17).
